My trapping story started at summer camp. my parents made me go to camp because it would be good for me. Boy did I think they were wrong. I was always the kid that didn't want to get dirty or anything. When I got to camp the first thing I did was make a friend. All he ever talked about was trapping and how much fun it was. So I asked him to tell me how to do it and I wanted to try it when I got home. Well he told me everything he knew about trapping. So when I got home I did everything I could to make some money.  My camp friend sent me a catalog that had everything I needed to start trapping in it. I got two Duke #110 Conibear traps for things like rabbits and squirrels and I got a #220 for coons and things like that. I also got a few leg hold traps. Jonathan from camp told me how to catch a squirrel if they walk on the top of your fence, so I made a squirrel set and a rabbit set and a few raccoon sets. I did pretty good my first year I got a squirrel and a few coons. The rabbits are just to hard to get. I have been thinking about going after a bobcat but I got to get some bigger traps and learn a little bit more. Well, that's the story of my first season of trapping. Hope you liked it.
