Your probably won't notice it while you're cooking up one of these great dishes......you'll be to busy gettin' it all together.

But, when you sit down down to eat, I'd suggest you get real quiet and listen closely. It helps if you close your eyes and kind of tilt your head a little bit.

Very often, when you do that, you can hear......way off in the distance.....so faint that it's almost not there.....the distant sound of hooves. You'll catch the low squeak of a cinch as some hombre shifts his tired weight in the saddle, or hear the clumsy tattling of a far-off Conestoga wagon.

You'll feel the dry western air in your throat and taste a hint of dust.....for a moment.....just for a moment, you'll join those who went before.
